I moved to Switzerland 7 years ago from Seattle, Washington, and currently live between Aargau and Zug with my husband and two rescue dogs.
I've practiced yoga consistently for 20 years, but only got my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate in 2023 — because I was personally asked in my village to teach. Dance was my first love: I taught myself ballet in my bedroom as a child, the natural companion to being raised by a professional-musician father and singer mother in a musical, entertaining household. As a working university student, I studied dance, movement, and yoga as a way to connect with my body and reduce stress, and I've wanted to share that blend of yoga, dance, and somatic movement ever since my early twenties.
Once I became certified to teach pregnancy and postnatal yoga in 2025–2026, I chose Zürich to launch this practice, thanks to its progressive culture. Breathwork alongside movement has only recently been given the medical attention it deserves, and I see this as a wonderful opportunity to help families — especially with newborns — use breath and movement as tools for a calmer family life and a strong foundation for baby's development. Baby and Me is a fun way for us to explore mindful movement together, guided by the breath. I look forward to teaching and learning from you all!
